Services Database Stop Smoking Services (Bristol Area)

The service aims to support smokers in Bristol to quit smoking as part of a wider tobacco control action plan to:

• reduce smoking prevalence on adults over 18 years;
• reduce smoking prevalence in young people; and
• reduce the number of pregnant women who smoke at the time of delivery.

Service providers will offer brief advice and intervention to all smokers accessing the service, offer stop smoking medication via and NRT voucher or varenicline script scheme, and provide advice and information on smoke-free homes and vehicles to prevent harm to children from secondhand smoke.
