Pharmacy Pressures Survey

Published on: 19th October 2024 | Updated on: 19th October 2024

Community Pharmacy England’s Pharmacy Pressures Survey is conducted annually to gather insight from those across the sector about the scale of financial and operational pressures they are facing.

The survey is usually conducted early in the calendar year, reflecting the previous 12 months.

Findings from 2024

Our most recent Pharmacy Pressures Survey was carried out between early March 2024 and early April 2024. Over 900 pharmacy owners – between them representing more than 6,100 pharmacy premises in England – and over 2,000 pharmacy team members (mostly pharmacists, but also some technicians, dispensers and assistants) took part.

The results from this year’s survey have been presented in a series of national reports.
